CTF Guangzhou tops out


CTF Guangzhou has now topped out at 1738.85 ft (530 m), making it the 5th tallest building in the world, just behind One WTC.

The list of the tallest buildings now looks like:

  1. Burj Khalifa, Dubai, 828m (2010) 
  2. Shanghai Tower, 632m (2014). 
  3. Abraj Al Bait, Mekka (Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower), 601m (2011) 
  4. One World Trade Center, New York, 541m (2013) 
  5. CTF Guangzhou, 530m (2016)
  6. Taipei 101, Taipei, 509m (2004) 
  7. Shanghai World Financial Center, 492m (2008) 
  8. International Commerce Center, Hong Kong, 484m (2010)
  9. Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, 452m (1998)
And there are more on the way.  These should be completed in the next few years:
Ping An IFC, Shenzhen, 660m (2015)
Wuhan Greenland Center, 636m (2016)
Goldin Finance 117, Tianjin, 597m (2016)
Lotte World Tower,  Seoul, 556m (2015)
