Breakdown in New Jersey

"More than 1,000 New Jersey gas stations are unable to sell fuel due to power outages and delivery problems, according to the head of one of the state's gas station associations.  Sal Risalvato, executive director of the New Jersey Gasoline-Convenience-Automotive Association, which represents 1,500 stations, told us by phone that 75 percent of his members have shut down fueling."

This is what it looks like when our modern civilization breaks down.  Everything depends on gas and electricity.  Without those we are dead.  The biggest problem is gas.

Refineries are shut down because they don't have power.  Gas trucks can't get to the stations because they are blocked by trees and flooding.  The stations can't pump without power.

Here's a crazy idea.  Let's bring back horses and buggies.
