I have previously developed an extensive list of tragedies that occurred around April 20. But there are other unlucky days too. Consider this list of Space tragedies:
January 27, 1967 - Apollo 1 catches fire on the launch pad, killing astronauts Gus Grissom, Edward White and Robert Chaffee
January 28, 1986 - The Space Shuttle Challenger blew up 73 seconds after lift-off, killing the 7 astronauts aboard
Feb 1, 2003 - The Space Shuttle Columbia was destroyed during landing, killing 7.
