The McDonald's Diet

Morgan Spurlock claims that he ate at McDonalds every day for a month, ate an average of 5000 calories per day and gained 24.5 lbs and got very sick.  He doesn't say where the calories came from but apparently, most of it came from soda.

McDonalds can actually be very healthy if you avoid the sodas and shakes.  Even french fries can be healthy if you stick to the small size (230 calories).

A Virginia man lost 80 pounds over six months and ate every meal at McDonalds. "Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce. Chris Coleson tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36."

Emily Strunk-Helm is a marathon runner who eats only at McDonalds, including cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and french fries. "I think the hardest part of this challenge will be making it to McDonalds enough times during the day to satisfy my hunger."

Joe D’Amico is another marathon runner who eats only at McDonalds. "He usually starts the day with a plate of hot cakes, an Egg McMuffin and an orange juice. He eats a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch, washed down with a large Coke, then enjoys a hamburger and fries for dinner, with cookies for desert. His only deviation from the McDonald’s menu is a daily multivitamin, tap water, and an energy gel he takes while on the road."

Here is the complete diet plan.  Try it if you dare.

Fruit and Yogurt Parfait
English Muffin
2 Pats Whipped Margarine
2 Packets of Strawberry Jam
Grilled Chicken Sandwich
Medium French Fry
Large Diet Coke
1 Chocolate Chip Cookie
